Moto Perpetuo (2009) for solo piano
Moto Perpetuo was composed to accompany two-minutes of choreography and was first performed in November of 2009. As the title suggests, the work begins with a few notes but quickly gains momentum. This short work is cast in ABA form and features 7th and 9th intervals that provide harmonic accents to energetic gestures.
